Historical Back Ground
The tribe of Quraysh was scattered in the Hijaz until the time of Qusay bin Kilab, the great-grandfather of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He gathered all the tribes in Mecca. The city-state began in Mecca. The guardianship of the House of Allah came to the Quraysh.

Mecca became a trading market. People and pilgrims from all over the Arabian Peninsula came to Mecca on the occasion of Hajj and for other purposes. Such a script was also brought to Mecca by the people of Iraq, in which the Holy Quran was later written.
