Surah Naba English Translation & PDF

In this article, we will read the Surah Naba English. The title of this noble Surah, An-Naba, is taken from its second verse. It consists of two bows. According to the consensus of scholars, this was the beginning of the era of Prophethood and was revealed in Mecca.

At the beginning of Surah Naba, it was told in two blunt words that your denial cannot change the reality. The Hour will come. You will witness it with your own eyes and will also acknowledge it, but at that time, your belief in the Hour will not save you from Hell.

After that, the objection of the disbelievers was answered as to how their scattered particles would be collected. It is said that the one who gathers these particles is the Almighty, the Wise, and the Knowing God, whose power and wisdom bear witness to His greatness step by step. Who can accomplish such a mind-boggling task? It is not difficult for Him to bring you back to life..

Surah An-Nazi’at English Translation

  • What do they inquire of one another about?
  • About this wonderful news.
  • Wherein they disagree.
  • By no means will they come to know soon.
  • Nay! Very soon, they will surely come to know
  • Have we not made the earth a bed?
  • And the mountains pegs?
  • And created you in pairs?
  • And made your sleep a resting place.
  • And made the night a cover.
  • And made the day a provision.
  • And We made seven firm (heavens) above you.
  • And made a shining lamp.
  • And We sent down from the clouds a torrential rain.
  • That we may bring forth from it grain and grass.
  • And cause gardens to grow.
  • Indeed, the Day of Judgment has been appointed.
  • On the Day the Trumpet will be blown, and you will come forth in groups.
  • And the heaven will be opened, and the gates will be opened.
  • And the mountains will be removed, and they will become sand.
  • Surely, Hell is a waiting place.
  • A home for the sinners.
  • To dwell in it forever.
  • They shall not taste any coolness there, nor any drink.
  • But hot water and gushing pus.
  • They will be punished in full.
  • Surely, they did not expect the reckoning.
  • And they used to belittle our signs.
  • And we have counted everything in the Book.
  • So, taste, and we will only add more punishment for you.
  • Surely, triumph is for the righteous.
  • Gardens and grapes.
  • And maidens of similar age.
  • And vessels filled to overflowing.
  • No useless talk will be heard from them, nor any lies.
  • They shall receive reward for their deeds from their Lord.
  • They will have no power to speak to the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them—the Most Merciful.
  • On that Day, the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows. None will speak except one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is right.
  • It is a Day of fulfillment, therefore let whichever one desires seek refuge with his Lord.
  • We surely have threatened you with a punishment that will be fulfilled soon, the Day when man will witness what his hands have created, and the unbeliever will exclaim, “Would that I were dust.”
