Woe to those who weigh less.
Those who, when they measure out to people, give full.
And when they measure or weigh them, they reduce.
Do they not think they will be brought back from the dead
For that great Day.
On the Day when everyone will stand in the presence of the Lord of all that exists.
Not! The actions of the rebellious are written in Sijjin. And what will acquaint you with Sijjin?
There is a book where it is said.
Woe to those who believe that Day.
Believers in the Day when mankind will be resurrected.
And only the very wickedest of sinners belies it.
When our signs are presented to him, he declares, “These are narratives of bygone days.
Indeed, their hearts have become hardened due to the things they have done.
Nay, rather, they will be rejected on that Day by their Lord.
Then they will go to Hell.
Then it will be told them, “This is that which you used to deny.”
Nay, rather, the good works of the righteous will be in the Book of the Hereafter.
And what will make you know what the Hereafter is?
There is a book in which it is written.
The angels who attend look at it.
The righteous will be in Paradise.
They will be seated on thrones, looking on.
You will observe the brilliance in their expressions.
They will be made to drink fine wine sealed.
Its seal will be musk, and whoever desires it should desire it.
And there will be found Tasnim in it.
It is a spring from which the near one’s drink.
For sure, the disbelievers used to mock the believers (in the world).
And when they went past them (Muslims), they would wink at one another.
And when they returned to their own, they would leave laughing.
And when they saw them (Muslims), they would say, “Surely, these are the ones who are lost.”
Even though they were not appointed watchmen over them.
So it will be, on the Final Day, that the faithful will laugh at those who rejected the truth.
They will be seated on thrones observing.
Have the disbelievers been (truly) recompensed for that which they were doing?
