Translation of Surah Mulk English

1. Supremely Blessed is He to Whom belongs all dominion, and He is the One with complete power over all things.

2. [He] Who created death and life that He may test you as to which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving –

3. [And] who made the seven heavens in order. You do not find any inconsistency in the creation of the Most Merciful. So, bring your sight back to the sky; do you see any gaps?

4. Then bring your sight twice again. Your sight will come back to you humbled while it is weakened.

5. We have decorated the closest heaven with stars, and We have made from them weapons to strike at the evil ones who try to listen. And for them, a punishment of fierce Fire awaits.

6. And for the disbelievers in their Lord, there is Hell, and wretched is the destination.

7. When they are hurled into its depths, a dreadful gasping sound will meet their ears, and they will see it boiling violently.

8. is about to explode with fury. Each time an association is plunged into it, its guardians inquire of them, “Did there not come to you a warner?”

9. They will reply, “Yes, a warner had come to us, and we rejected and said, ‘Allah has not sent down anything. You are not, but in great error.’

10. They will cry, “If only we had paid attention or thought wisely, we would not be here with the people of the Fire!”

11. And they will confess their sin, then [it is] alienation to the companions of the Blaze.

12. Indeed, the ones who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

13Whether you keep your words secret or speak them aloud, He knows full well what is hidden in the heart.

14. Does He Who created not know, being the Subtle, the Acquainted?

15. He is He who has made the earth level for you – then walk in its slopes and consume of His sustenance – and to Him is the resurrection.

16. Do you think that He who [holds power] in the heaven would not make the earth swallow you up and then [cause] it to creak and sag?

17. Or do you think yourself safe that He who [exercises authority] in the heaven would not send upon you a storm of stones? Then you would have known how great it was—my admonition.

18. And already had those before them rejected, and how [sore] was My indignation.

19. Have they not observed the birds on high and how they spread their wings and fold them? No one supports them there but the Most Merciful. Indeed, He is, of all things, Beholding.

20. Or who is there that could serve as an army to you in aid of you except the Most Merciful? The unbelievers are not, but in delusion.

21. Or who is there that could be of provision to you, if He withheld His provision? Nay, they remained in insolence and aversion.

22. Then is one who prostrates fallen on his face more guided or one who stands erect on a straight path?

23. Say, “He is the One who has created you and provided you with the ears and the eyes and the intellects. However, you are hardly appreciative.”

24. Say, “It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.”

25. They mock, “So when is this threat of yours going to come true, if you’re even being honest?”

26. Say, “The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner.

27. But when they behold it, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be distressed, and it shall be said, “This is that for which you used to call.”

28. Say, ‘Consider this: whether Allah brings ruin upon me and my followers, or grants us His grace, tell me, who is there to rescue the faithless from a painful doom?

29. Declare: ‘He is the All-Merciful. We have trusted in Him, and on Him we depend. The time will come when you will know whose path was clearly misguided.’”

30. Ask them: ‘Have you ever considered if your water sources were to dry up completely, who is there that could bring you a continuous supply of fresh water?’

Conclusion

It is stated in this Surah that Allah Almighty has established the continuity of life and death and immediately turned the attention of man to his wisdom that the purpose of this is only to test you, which of you devotes his life to good, or rather, the best of good deeds. After that, He presented His universe as proof of His power and wisdom and repeatedly invited critics from all over the world to find any flaw in it or to suggest a better model.

When no one dares to point a finger at something created by Allah Almighty. How much better than this, experts from all over the world are unable even to present an alternative to it. Therefore, do not be ignorant; bow your heads before Him. Believe in His Oneness and the perfection of all His attributes; otherwise, the end will be unfortunate.

You will be thrown into a hell whose flames will be roaring with rage and anger. At that time, you will confess your mistakes, but at that time, confession will not benefit you.
