Translation of Surah Takwir English
- When the sun’s light is veiled.
- And when the stars drop.
- And when the mountains are uprooted.
- And when the ten-month pregnant camels are released.
- And when the beasts of prey are assembled.
- And when seas are boiled.
- And when the souls are brought with the bodies.
- And when the lady buried alive is questioned.
- For what crime was she murdered?
- And when the works are opened.
- And the heaven is unmanned.
- And when Hell is made to burn.
- And when Paradise is made near.
- So that every individual will recognize what he has brought.
- So, I swear by the receding (stars).
- By the stars that move straight away and vanish.
- And by the night when it recedes.
- And by the morning when it breaks.
- surely this Quran has been brought by an honored Messenger.
- Who is powerful, superior in position with the Lord of the Throne.
- The head of it is reliable.
- And your friend (Messenger) is not insane.
- And he saw him (the angel) on the open brim (of the sky).
- And he is not begrudging with the knowledge of the unseen.
- And it is not the word of a devil, abhorred.
- So where are you going?
- This is an admonition for the worlds.
- For whoever among you wishes to be guided.
- And you will only yearn at the will of Allah, the Lord of the worlds
Virtues of Surah Takwir
Whoever recites “Adha al-Shams Korat” will be protected from every disgrace when the book of deeds is opened.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever wants to be a witness on the Day of Judgment, let him recite Surah “Adha al-Shams Korat”.
Summary of Surah Takwir English
In Surah Takwir, the English version mentions the Day of Judgment and Messengership, but before that, several oaths are taken. Then, it is stated that the bearer of the Quran is the Messenger of Allah.
This is the word that he recites to you. He has not composed it himself, nor has anyone taught or taught it to him, but an honorable and respected angel whose trustworthiness and loyalty are beyond all doubt. That angel has brought it from the presence of Allah. O ignorant ones! Why are you running after a mirage after leaving this sweet spring? Just be wise and do not ruin your fate.

The first stage is when the present system of the universe will be disrupted. The heavenly lotus will be gone, the moon and its radiance extinguished, and the countless stars will cease to shine.
The sky-high mountains will crumble and start flying like dust in the air. The condition of the animals and birds will be visible. After this, the second stage was mentioned.
At the next phase, the trumpet’s sound will be heard. Everything will rise from its graves alive and awake, and everyone will be presented for accounting in the court of Allah, the Almighty.
On one side, the flames of Hell will be blazing before the eyes. On the other side, Paradise with all its adornment and decoration will be a sight for the servants of Allah.
