Quranic Synopsis (Al-Aa,Raf 140-184)

In the name of Allah Almighty, we will study about the Quranic Synopsis (Al-Aa,Raf 140-184). These lines are very important to understand about the Prophets life which were sent by Allah Almighty to Allah’s creation.

To understand Quranic Synopsis(Al-Aa,Raf 140-184),From Verse 144, Allah mentions granting Musa (AS) prophethood, the honor of speaking directly to Him (Kaleemullah), and giving him the Torah. However, the arrogant ones turned away from Allah’s signs, and those who deny His verses and the Day of Judgment—their deeds are worthless.

In Verse 151, Musa (AS) prayed for forgiveness. Later, when his anger cooled, he picked up the tablets, which contained guidance and mercy for the righteous.

Musa’s (AS) Prayer and Allah’s Promise

From Verses 155-158, Musa (AS) prayed for his people, asking Allah for goodness in this life and the Hereafter. Allah replied: “My perfect blessings will be given to those who believe, do good deeds, give charity, and follow the Final Prophet—whose name is written in the Torah and Gospel. He will command good, forbid evil, make pure things lawful, and remove the burdens of false beliefs. Those who believe in him, honor him, and follow the light (guidance) sent with him will be successful.”

Miracles and Disobedience of the Israelites

From Verse 160, Allah describes how Musa (AS) struck a rock, causing twelve springs to gush forth—one for each tribe of Israel. Despite this miracle, the Israelites were told to enter Jerusalem humbly, seeking forgiveness, but they disobeyed.

At the town of Ayla, they were forbidden from fishing on the Sabbath (Saturday), but they broke this rule. As punishment, some were transformed into monkeys for their defiance.

The Covenant of Souls

In Verse 172, Allah gathered all human souls before creation and made them testify that He is their Lord.

Creation of Humanity

In Verse 188, Allah says He created all humans from one soul (Adam) and his mate (Hawwa) so they may find peace in each other.

False Gods Have No Power

From Verse 184, Allah reminds us that false gods are just creations—they have no eyes, ears, hands, or feet. They are powerless. If we want that Allah Almighty shows us the true path, we must read Quranic Synopsis(Al-Aa,Raf 140-184) and full translation of The Holy Quran.
