In this article we will try to understand Quranic Lessons: Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 164 to 208 mention the signs of Allah Almighty’s Oneness and His power, namely the creation of the heavens and the earth, the system of night and day, the sailing of ships and vessels in the seas for the benefit of mankind, the rebirth and settlement of dry and barren land through the natural system of rain, the movement of winds and the suspension of clouds between the sky and the earth, etc.
It is also stated that the love of Allah is greater for the believers than for the polytheists than for their false gods. It is also stated that the leaders in the world, following whom people have chosen to go astray, will be acquitted of their followers on the Day of Judgment after seeing the punishment of Allah.
In verses 172-173, it was commanded to eat of the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you and be grateful to Him. Then, four forbidden things were mentioned, which are: dead animals (this means a lawful animal that has died a natural death), blood flowing at the time of slaughter, the flesh of swine, and those lawful animals on which a name other than Allah has been invoked at the time of slaughter.
Their use was made permissible only in cases of emergency, as much as necessary for the survival of life. In verse 177, it was stated that real righteousness is not just facing the east and west during worship, but complete righteousness is the name of a comprehensive package, namely, believing in Allah, the Day of Judgment, the angels, all the inspired books and all the prophets, along with spending in the way of Allah, establishing the system of prayer and zakat, fulfilling the covenant, and being patient and steadfast in the face of every calamity.
Then he said that in fact, those who possess all these qualities are the ones who claim to be true in faith,in this way we can understand the khulasa e Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 164-208)
Verses 178 and 179 describe the law of retribution in Islam. Allah Almighty says, βIn retribution is life for you.β Today, we are seeing that in a society where the law of retribution is not practically enforced, the lives, property and honor of innocent people are being violated day by day.
Verse 194 describes the sanctity of four months. Verses 195 to 203 describe some issues of Hajj, Umrah and Hajj.
In verses 207 and 208, it is stated that the reality of faith is the transaction of one’s life with Allah Almighty, and Islam is not about accepting some things and rejecting others.
This paragraph of khulasa e Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 164-208) shows, the reality of Islam is that all the commands of Allah Almighty and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) should be accepted in their entirety. It is not possible that you accept some things if you like them and reject the things you do not like.
