In this essay we will read about Quranic Summary: Surat Al-Baqarah Verses 234 to 286. This article will conclude the summary of Surah Al-Baqarah. The beginning of the third paragraph states that despite the fact that all the Prophets and Messengers of Allah (peace be upon them) are honorable and noble and their dignity is great, Allah (peace be upon him) has given some of the Messengers a higher rank and a higher status than others.
In verse 254, He says that on the Day of Resurrection, there will be no trading, friendship or intercession, and the disbelievers are the ones who are truly wrongdoers. The great verse of the Quran, known as the “Ayat al-Kursi”, is the chief of the verses of the Quran. This paragraph is most important to understand khulasa e Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 234-286).
It describes the oneness of Allah (peace be upon him), His majesty and the vastness of His power, and it is also said that intercession will be granted to Him only by His permission.
In verse 258, the discussion between Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) and Nimrod (peace be upon him) is mentioned, which resulted in his being unable to answer, i.e. When Abraham (peace be upon him) said, “Allah brings up the sun from the east; if you possess godly power, then bring it up from the west.”
In verse 273, He said that the people who are entitled to charity and good deeds are those who are engaged in Jihad in the way of Allah or in some religious work (for example, teaching and learning about religion) and do not have time to seek livelihood and are so self-controlled that they do not go around begging from people and people who are not aware of their true situation consider them rich.
This paragraph is of utmost importance for understanding the khulasa e Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 234-286). In verse 274, He said, “The example of the usurer is like that of a person whose senses have been affected by Satan.” Then He said, “After the prohibition of usury has come, give up the transaction of usury. Past sins are forgiven; however, if a person has previous financial obligations to another, he should take the original amount and give up the usury.”
In verse 282, He has stated some basic and fundamental principles of financial transactions and trade and transactions:
(1) Give a document.
(2) Set a time for payment.
(3) The one who has the power to write a document of financial transactions should help his Muslim brother to write it.
(4) Writing is the responsibility of the debtor.
(5) Honesty is obligatory in writing.
(6) If the debtor is ignorant, weak or unable to write, his guardian should write it.
(7) In commercial and financial matters, two men or one man and two women should be called as witnesses.
(8) Witnesses should not refuse to testify, but should testify willingly.
(9) It is the responsibility of the parties to the contract to provide protection to witnesses and those who write the document.
(10) It is a sin to harm witnesses and those who write the document.
(11) It is a sin to conceal testimony.
(12) If there is a transaction while traveling, one party can keep something as collateral.
(13) If someone has made a transaction with someone on trust without writing a document or witnesses, he should return the trust of the other. Finally, He said: “Be conscious of Allah concerning this matter.”
Conclusion
The last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah are among the most important treasures of Allah Almighty. With this paragraph, khulasa e Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 234-286) is complete.
