Translation of Surah Taghabun

  • Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is Allah’s praise. All authority is His dominion, and every expression of praise is His right. He can do all things.
  • It is He who created you, then some of you are disbelievers and others are believers. And Allah is watching over what you do.
  • He is the One Who originated the heavens and the earth in sincerity and created you and shaped you and completed your forms, and to Him is the return.
  • Whatever is in the heavens and the earth is known unto Him. What you conceal and what you make known. And Allah knows what is in the breasts.
  • Has the account of those who disbelieved in the past not come to you? They ultimately faced the bitter outcome of their denial, and a torment of agony awaits them.
  • It is because their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they replied, “Will human beings guide us?” So, they denied and turned away. And Allah was not troubled. And Allah is Independent of all, and He is Praised.
  • The unbelievers believed that they would not be resurrected from their graves. Say, “Why not? By your Lord, you will surely be raised. Then you will be given information about what you used to do.” And that is easy for Allah.
  • So, believe in Allah and His Messenger and in the light which We have sent down. And Allah is watching over what you do.
  • The Day when He will gather you together on the Day of Gathering, that Day will be a Day of victory. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteous deeds, He will remove from him his evil deeds and admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. That is a great achievement.
  • And they who disbelieve and reject Our verses, for them are the dwellers of the Fire, to abide therein; and evil it is as a destination.
  • Nothing happens by way of a disaster except according to the will of Allah, and whoever puts his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
  • And follow Allah and obey His Messenger, but should you turn away, then surely, upon Us is His Messenger’s declaration.
  • There is no god but Allah, and on Allah do put your trust, the believers.
    • You who believe! Truly, among your wives and children are adversaries to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and forgive and forgive, then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
  • Your children and your wealth are only a test for you, and Allah is He with whom there is a great reward.
  • So have fear of Allah as much as possible, and obey with ears and listen, and spend for your own benefit, and whoever is saved from the covetousness of his own soul, those are the ones who are successful.
  • If you lend to Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and remit to you, and Allah is Oft-Rewarding, Most Forbearing.
  • The Knower of all that is hidden and what is open, the Almighty, the Wise.
