Quranic Summary of Surah Younas

In the name of Allah Almighty, we will read this paragraph about the Quranic Summary of Surah Younas. In verse 11, it was said that people are as quick in seeking worldly benefits as they are in seeking worldly benefits, if Allah Almighty were to be as quick in punishing them for their evil deeds, their death would come quickly, but they are given respite.

 In verse 15, it was said that when the verses of the Quran are recited to those who deny the Hereafter, they say, “Bring a Quran other than this or change it.” Then Allah Almighty said, “(O Messenger!) Say to them, “I have no power to change it on my part.  

 In verse 22, Allah Almighty mentioned His various blessings. In verse 26, it was said that on the Day of Resurrection, those who do good deeds will receive the best reward and those who commit evil deeds will have their faces blackened.

 In verse 68, Allah says that those who disbelieve say, “Allah has taken a son.” Glory be to Him, and whatever is in the heavens and the earth is free from need of Him. So do they have any evidence for this false claim?

In verse 71, the story of Noah is being narrated, saying, “Why is it displeasing to me to be among you and to advise you with the verses of Allah, when I have put my trust in Allah and I do not ask you for any reward for calling to the truth?”

Then We sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his people, but they were arrogant and they were a guilty people. Pharaoh’s people considered Moses’ miracles to be magic and said, “You want to turn us away from the religion of our fathers and seek your supremacy in the land.”

 After this, there is a mention of Moses’ confrontation with the magicians, which has been described in detail before. Allah Almighty says, “We commanded Moses and Aaron, ‘Build houses for your people in Egypt and make your houses places of worship and establish prayer.’

To understand Quranic Summary of Surah Younas, we must read that,This command was given because it was difficult for the Children of Israel to worship openly due to the oppression of the Pharaoh’s people. Moses (peace be upon him) supplicated to Allah Almighty, saying, “Since Pharaoh and his courtiers have wealth, wealth and worldly adornment, and through it they are misleading people, O Allah! Destroy their wealth and harden their hearts, so that they may suffer a painful punishment.” Allah Almighty said to Moses (peace be upon him), “I have accepted your supplication, so stand firm and do not follow the ignorant.”

Verse: 90 states that We brought the Children of Israel across the sea in safety, and Pharaoh and his army pursued them in hostility and rebellion, until when they began to drown in the sea, Pharaoh said, “I believe in the One in whom the Children of Israel believe, and besides Whom there is no god but He, and I am of the Muslims.”

 In verse:96, Allah Almighty says that those against whom Allah’s punishment has been decreed, they remain deprived of faith, even if all the signs come to them.

In verse:104, Allah Almighty said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that you should say to the disbelievers of Mecca, “If you have any doubt about my religion, then I will not worship your false gods under any circumstances.” Rather, I will worship Allah, “Who takes your souls,” meaning in whose possession and power your souls are. Allah Almighty said, “Do not worship any false god besides Allah who has no power to benefit or harm you.” If you did so, you would be among the wrongdoers. In Verse: 107: Allah has power over everything.
