- you who take the cloak.
- Stay up through the night, but a little.
- Cut off half of the night or a little.
- Add more to it, and remain constant in Qur’an recitation.
- We will soon make a heavy burden fall on you.
- Indeed, the night rising is greatly oppressive and the word also emerges correct.
- Certainly, you face heavy work throughout the day.
- And say the name of your Lord and associate yourself with Him, and turn away from everyone else.
- He is the Sovereign of the East and the West. There is no god but He, so take Him as your protector.
- And be patient over the words of the disbelievers and leave them in a manner that is kind to them.
- And leave me and the affluent who deny and give them a brief respite.
- Indeed, with Us are chains and Hell.
- And a diet that will be lodged in the throats and an agonizing retribution.
- The moment when the ground trembles violently and the peaks shudder, until the mighty mountains crumble into drifting heaps of soft dunes.
- We sent to you a Messenger as a witness against you, as We sent a Messenger to Pharaoh.
- But the Messenger disobeyed, so We took him strongly.
- Then how shall you escape when you disbelieve on the Day that makes the young ones old?
- On that Day, the sky will be torn asunder in fulfillment of its decree.Well, it is a reminder—so let whoever wills follow a way to his Lord.What your Lord grants little in it in prayer at night, some of you, and half of it, or a third of it. Allah has decided the measure of night and day. He knows that you are not able to do it. So He has turned to you in mercy. Therefore, recite from the Qur’an what is manageable for you. He is aware that among you are those who are sick, others who travel across the land in pursuit of Allah’s bounty, and others who strive in Allah’s cause. So recite from it what is easy, establish prayer, give zakah, and offer Allah a goodly loan. Wh atever good you send forth for yourselves, you will find it with Allah, multiplied and far better in reward. And seek forgiveness from Allah; truly, Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Benefits of Surah Muzzammil
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Kaab (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Whoever recites Surah Muzzammil, the troubles of this world and the Hereafter will be removed from him.
Whoever recites this Surah seven times a day, Allah Almighty will increase his sustenance. If a problem is not being resolved, then recite it forty times in solitude for forty days.
